CMG Inks Greig To Program Tampa’s Vibe
• CMG Radio has named EJ Greig as the inaugural Director of Branding & Programming for Urban AC WTBV (101.5 FM The Vibe)/Tampa, which launched in September, replacing former Top 40 WPOI (Hot 101.5).
Greig (left) spent the past eight years with Cumulus in Mobile, AL, as PD of Urban 92.9 WBLX and Urban AC 104.1 WDLT. Earlier in his career Greig programmed Radio One’s WIZF (101.1 The Wiz)/Cincinnati.
“EJ is a great leader, a great on-air talent, and a great man,” said Jason Meder, Market Manager of CMG Tampa. “From the start, we knew EJ was the perfect fit for The Vibe. We’re lucky to have him and are thankful he brought his talents to CMG.”

WTBV has also added the talents of market veteran DJ Ekin (left) as the liaison to the Rickey Smiley Morning Showand between the station and the community. Ekin, who has previous experience in radio and at Island Def Jam, has also served as the in-game DJ and host for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
