Collective Heads Collects Jim Lawson

Tim Richards, Ring Leader of Collective Heads just announced that programming and brand sage Jim Lawson is joining Jimmy Steal and Heidi McIvor-Allen as a partner in their recently launched Collective Heads consulting group.

Richards remarked, “Jim is a world-class programmer with an impressive spectrum of experience. From running Denver for iHeartMedia, to helping run the Spanish division for Clear Channel and beyond, we are thrilled for Jim’s brilliant mind to join our Collective Heads.”

Indeed, Lawson brings with him decades of experience, most recently a seven-year run as Program Director of Bonneville’s market leading AC KOSI/Denver. He previously spent 16 years across the street at iHeartMedia, rising to SVP of Programming for the eight-station group and earlier served in the dual role as SVP of Programming for iHeart’s Colorado Regional Markets and as Hispanic Brand Manager for the company’s National Programming Platforms. Lawson joined Clear Channel in 2001 as PD of KFMD (Kiss 95.7)/Denver. Prior to that, he was on the brand architect team that built the first Modern AC, KALC (Alice 105.9)/Denver.  Lawson’s extensive radio career also includes earlier programming and on-air roles at B96 and WGN/Chicago, WLUM (Hot 102)/Milwaukee and WVIC/Lansing, MI.

Commenting on his new adventure, Lawson said, “I’m so excited to join Tim, Jimmy and Heidi in solving problems and providing our clients with big ideas that drive results.” Lawson can be congratulated at jlaw@collectiveheads.io.
