• Audacy welcomes Ben “Complex” Romero as the new Brand Manager of Rhythmic 102.5 KSFM/Sacramento. In this role, Complex will oversee content strategy, talent, operations and branding for the station.
“We’re delighted to welcome a talented, seasoned veteran like Complex to lead KSFM,” said Stacey Kauffman, Regional Vice President, Audacy Sacramento. “His extensive experience programming and leading rhythmic brands across the country will put him in a position to help this local favorite reach new levels of success.”

He went on to serve as MD/Mix Show Coordinator for KWIE (Wild 96.1)/Riverside, and assisted in the relaunch of 93.5 KDAY/Los Angeles. In 2008 Romero was named APD/MD of Rhythmic KWYD (Wild 101)/Boise, ID, and upped to PD two years later. He rejoined KKFR in August 2012, was upped to APD/MD the following year, and, in May 2019 was elevated to PD.
“I couldn’t be more grateful and excited about this opportunity,” said Complex. “I’m proud to join Audacy Sacramento and these hard-working teams on KSFM. There are so many talented individuals who know the results of their dedication, and I’m humbled to be asked to lead them. A special thanks to Aaron Roberts, Stacey Kauffman, Michael Martin, Buck, Brian Kelly and Dave Richards for the opportunity to manage these brands and continue to look towards the future of this innovative company.”
