Crash Landing In Portland, ME

• Saga’s Portland Radio Group has tapped veteran programmer Crash Poteet as Brand Manager and afternoon drive personality for Country WPOR/Portland, ME.

Poteet’s previous programming stops include Cumulus Country KSCS/Dallas (ACM Major Market Station of The Year in 2009), as well as iHeartMedia’s KTST (101.9 The Twister)/Oklahoma City and Scripps’ KVOO/Tulsa. He most recently programmed WKWS (96.1 The Wolf)/Charleston, WV for West Virginia Radio Corporation.

Bob Adams, GM of Portland Radio Group, commented, “WPOR is one of our most important brands and we are thrilled to have somebody with Crash’s level of experience leading the team.” Poteet exclaimed, “I’m beyond excited to join the WPOR team and its legendary brand! Thanks to Saga for allowing me the opportunity to share in the POR passion for creating fun and compelling Country radio. I can’t wait to get started!”

Poteet replaces Mark Jennings, who left last September.
