Dastur Joins Global In Senior Role

• Global, the media & entertainment group announced the appointment of radio and record industry veteran Sharon Dastur as Global’s Senior Programming & Content Advisor. In her new position. Dastur will serve as an extra U.S. liaison to artist managers and record labels, working closely with Global’s Talent & Artist relations team in London, reporting to James Rea, Global’s Director of Broadcasting.

Dastur’s music industry career spans over 20 years, starting at KRBE/Houston and transitioning up to a lengthy stint as PD of Z100/New York, SVP of Programming Integrations for iHeartMedia’s National Programming group, and most recently, SVP of Promotion at Republic Records.
