Dave McKay: Free Agent
• We were surprised, to say the least, after learning of the departure of Dave McKay, longtime PD of heritage Top 40 WPST/Trenton, NJ. McKay had been a fixture in the hallways of WPST for nearly three decades, the last 20+ years as PD/MD, where he survived multiple ownership changes — Nassau Broadcasting, Connoisseur Media, and, as of 2018, Townsquare Media. McKay was also the co-host of the Chris & The Crewmorning show, helmed by Chris Rollins.
No replacement has been formally named, but we understand that, at least for now, the continued care and feeding of WPST will be handled by major market veteran Anne Gress, PD of News-Talk sibling WKXW (New Jersey 101.5). In the meantime, McKay can be reached at Dave.McKay.radio@gmail.com.
