Dave Numme On The Loose
• Major market programmer Dave Numme is now a free agent as he exits as Content Director of Alpha Media Classic Hits KBAY (94.5 Bay FM) & Hot AC KEZR (Mix 106.5)/San Jose and Hot AC and Rock Format Captain after 3 1/2 years.
No stranger to the Bay Area… or the South Bay, Numme was named to his current post in April 2018, returning to the region from Seattle, where he was the inaugural PD of Hubbard’s late KVRQ (Rock 98.9), joining the station in June 2016, three months after it launched and leaving when it flipped to Country in Dec. 2017.
Numme also holds the distinction of being the first PD of KUFO/Portland, OR and served from 1991-2006. He also programmed KITS (formerly Live 105)/San Francisco from 2006-2009 and was VP of Programming for CBS Radio’s Rock and Alternative formats. His career also includes stints at KGON/Portland, KRQR/San Francisco and KSJO/San Jose.
