Eddie’s Alarm Permanently Set At WKSZ

• Woodward Community Media makes it official and upgrades Eddie Ybarra from “Interim” to “Full-time” host of KISS FM Mornings With Eddie, Katie & Nick on WKSZ (95.9 KISS FM)/Green Bay-Appleton-Oshkosh, alongside Katie Schurk and Nick Vitrano. “Eddie stepped into the interim role seamlessly this past spring, bringing an instant natural chemistry with Katie and Nick,” said Brand Manager Joe Marroe. “As Assistant Brand Manager, Eddie already knows the heartbeat of this station and our listeners. Making his morning role permanent was the absolute right move for the brand and our audience at this time.”

“I’ve had an absolute blast working alongside Katie and Nick every morning since April,” said Eddie. “The connection we’ve built with each other and with the KISS FM listeners has been incredible. I’m thrilled to officially lock in this role and keep building something special in the mornings, while continuing to help lead 95.9 KISS FM behind the mic.”

Eddie also thanked his former pm drive partner (now solo host) Reed, commenting, “I’ve loved every minute of doing afternoons with him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the friendship, laughs, and memories we’ve made along the way. I’m excited for what’s ahead, but I’ll always be proud of what we built together.”
