Entercom Celebrates Holiday In Miami

• Congrats to longtime Miami radio pro DJ Holiday, MD/afternoon drive personality on Entercom Classic Hits WMXJ (102.7 The Beach), who has been doubly rewarded with a) a promotion to APD, and b) a sweet multiyear contract extension.

“This is a natural move for both our station and DJ Holiday,” said Keriann Worley, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “DJ Holiday has grown up with this music and has an intimate knowledge of the market, having spent many nights spinning at Miami clubs. We’re thrilled to have him step up into the Assistant Program Director role and look forward to his increased contributions to the station’s success.”

Needless to say, Holiday will continue in his current roles as MD and afternoon drive personality for 102.7 The Beach, positions he has held since the station’s launch in 2016. Prior to that, he did afternoons on The Beach’s predecessor, Magic 102.7. Earlier in his career Holiday worked for now sister station WPOW (Power 96). “There’s always something new to learn and room to grow professionally,” said Holiday. “I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my Entercom family for the opportunity to do so.”
