Fallon Named VP/Marketing For iHeartRadio

• We are pleased to report that Jared Fallon, who was most recently PD of iHeartMedia Top 40 KBKS (Hits 106.1)/Seattle — until a November downsizing — has been reactivated, this time as the newly named VP of Marketing for iHeartRadio, based in Nashville.

The official announcement of Fallon’s new role came in the form of a company email from Chief Product Officer Chris Williams that read, in part, “I’m excited to welcome the newest member of our iHeartRadio team, Jared Fallon. Jared joins us in the new role of VP of Marketing. Jared is here to give dedicated focus and attention on our marketing team and efforts. This will be vital as we set even more ambitious growth objectives in the coming year and beyond. As VP of Marketing, Jared will help lead our day to day marketing efforts, user lifecycle marketing, organic and paid acquisition strategy, ongoing subscription efforts, provide experienced leadership for the Marketing team and serve as the digital marketing advocate across all divisions within iHeartMedia. Jared will be based in Nashville and will report directly to me. Our brilliant team of marketing folks are now reporting directly to their new manager. I’m thrilled to have Jared here with us to help upgrade our marketing efforts further.”

Fallon is a longtime company veteran who prior to KBKS programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 sisters WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia and WKFS (Kiss 107.1)/Cincinnati. Earlier in his career Fallon was OM/PD of Clear Channel Top 40 WBIZ/Eau Claire in his native land of Wisconsin. He began his career at the mighty WAQE-FM/Rice Lake, WI while in high school.

Fallon remarked, “One of my primary focuses while programming has always revolved around devising intriguing promotional campaigns that would create a unique relationship between the consumers of the brand/product and grow passion for that brand…I’m excited to begin this new journey in a new city and an incredible new team! I’m not shy and have all CDC-recommended vaccinations so please stop by for introductions any time!” Send your best wishes to JaredFallon@iheartmedia.com.
