Fig Newly Enhanced At Bonneville SF
• Late Wednesday evening we received the good news that Brian Figula, PD of Bonneville AC KOIT/San Francisco and Classic Rock KUFX (98.5 The Fox)/San Jose would be assuming broader responsibilities in a newly-defined role as Director of Programming Operations for Bonneville San Francisco.
“Fig will continue his direct programming responsibility over KOIT and KUFX,” said Carl Gardner, VP/Market Manager of Bonneville San Francisco. “In addition, he’ll take a bigger role overseeing digital content, digital audience development and serve alongside as a senior member of our programming and marketing brain trust for each of our four brands. Figula was named PD of KOIT in September 2013, following a stint as PD of former Greater Media AC WMGC/Detroit. He formally annexed KUFX PD duties in 2018. Prior to WMGC, Figula worked for NextMedia, doubling as PD of Hot AC WHBC (Mix 94.1)/Canton, OH and WGER (Mix 106.3)/Saginaw, MI, and before that he programmed WWCK/Flint, MI. Fig’s career also includes late nights at WDVD/Detroit and APD/afternoons at WQAL/Cleveland.
