Foxy 106.9 Debuts In St. Louis
• Roberts Metro Broadcasting in St. Louis has formally launched Urban AC Foxy 106.9 FM, “St. Louis’ Best Mix of R&B and Throwback Jams.”
The new station is owned by St. Louis real estate developer Dr. Michael V. Roberts, Sr. and attorneysMichael V. Roberts Jr. & Jeanne Roberts Johnson and is broadcasting on K295CQ (106.9) and the HD-3 channel of Gateway Creative Broadcasting Contemporary Christian KXBS (Boost 95.5).
Foxy 106.9 officially hit the airwaves on Friday, Dec. 1 at 6am with The Real Breakfast Crew, featuring Tammie Holland, Lou “The Real J.R.” Thimes, Lady Re, Mz. Sinita, and DJ Roze.
As the press release states, Foxy 106.9 FM will curate a carefully selected blend of music genres, including R&B, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Funk, and Classic Hip-Hop as well as The Quiet Storm.
And stand by for the formal announcement, but RAMP has confirmed that St. Louis native Don “DJ Wrekk 1” Williams has been named Program Director of Foxy 106.9.
