Francois Joins SummitMedia As VP/Programming

• SummitMedia LLC announced the arrival of J’Michael Francois in the newly created role of Vice President of Programming for R&B and Gospel, with oversight of WBHK (98.7 Kiss FM) and 610AM WAGG/Birmingham, AL, WJMZ (107.3 Jamz)/Greenville, SC and WRKA (103.9 The Groove)/Louisville.

Francois transitions from Cumulus Media, where for the past 18 years he had served as Operations Manager of the company’s Baton Rouge and New Orleans stations. During his tenure, Francois lead WQXL (Q106.5) to the No. 1 Urban AC in Baton Rouge, and WEMX (Max 94.1) to the market’s No. 1 Urban station. Francois also programmed the cluster’s legendary No. 1 Gospel station, WXOK-AM (Heaven 95.7).
