Free Agent: Ryan Wild
• Ryan Wild has exited the PD post at Emmis Country WLHK (97.1 Hank FM)/Indianapolis after nearly three years, reportedly due to consolidation. We understand that Sean Copeland, PD/morning host over on AC sister WYXB (B105.7) will add oversight of WLHK.
Wild was hired at Hank FM in Nov. 2018, shortly after the closing of the sale of his previous station, Scripps Country WKTI/Milwaukee to Good Karma Brands and its subsequent flip to 94.1 ESPN.
Wild joined WKTI in June 2017 from NRG Media in Omaha, where he was FM Operations Manager of Hot AC KQKQ (Sweet 98.5), Rhythmic KOPW (Power 106.9) and Adult Hits KOOO (101.9 The Keg). Earlier in his career Wild spent six years as OM/PD of WZSR & WFXF in suburban Chicago, and he previously programmed KCCQ & KASI/Des Moines, IA and WXLP & KBOB/Quad Cities, IL-IA.
