G-Off On A New Adventure

iHeartMedia has promoted Geoff “G-Off” Owens to PD of Pacific Northwest Rhythmic duo KXJM (JAM’N 107.5)/Portland, OR and KUBE/Seattle-Tacoma. He will also do afternoons on both stations, a position he’s held at JAM’N 107.5 since 2012. Owens’ journey is a true old-school radio success story — he was hired as an intern at JAM’N 107.5 in 2004 and worked his way up to night jock in 2010 and then to afternoons two years later. In 2016, Owens was promoted to APD/MD for JAM’N 107.5.

“Nobody knows the JAM’N 107.5 brand, core audience and Portland community better than Geoff,” said Tim Herbster, Regional SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Pacific Northwest Region. “It’s always special when you can watch a hard-working employee’s career grow from intern to Program Director.
