Good Karma Comes To Brad Lane

• Good Karma Brands (GKB) in Milwaukee has filled the prime dual PD post at News-Talk WTMJ (620AM/103.3FM) and Sports-Talk WKTI & WAUK-AM (ESPN Milwaukee) — say hello to Brad Lane, who starts Feb. 6. Lane (pictured) arrives from the Twin Cities after a 20-year run with Hubbard Radio as an on-air personality, producer, creative director and most recently, PD of Hubbard Sports-Talk KSTP-AM (now SKOR North)/Minneapolis-St. Paul.

The position has been open since November, when former WTMJ Director of News & Programming Eric Brooks was named Asst. News Director at Entercom All-News KCBS-AM/San Francisco.

Steve Wexler, VP/Market Manager of Good Karma Brands Milwaukee, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Brad to the Good Karma Brands family. His leadership, vision and creativity will help us continue to grow our news, sports and event marketing brands in Wisconsin.”

Lane commented, “This is a dream role to work with a legacy station like WTMJ and the powerful brand of ESPN Milwaukee. I’m excited to work with the incredible team and resources available to make our content more engaging, relevant and obtainable on all platforms, along with helping to cultivate and foster development of personalities on all our stations. I’m enormously grateful to Craig Karmazin, Steve Wexler and all of Good Karma Brands for the chance to lead these content teams and join one of the most innovative companies in the country.”
