Goose Reaches The Beaches
• Adams Radio Group has named industry vet Aaron “Goose” Seller as Operations Manager of the company’s Salisbury-Ocean City group and PD of Top 40 WOCQ (OC104). Seller arrives on the East coast from the relatively landlocked Midwest, where since last August he has worked for Sound Management in South Bend, IN overseeing Top 40 WNDV (U93), Classic Rock WYXX (Rock 97.7) and Classic Hits WYET.
Johnette Cochran, VP/Market Manager of Adams Salisbury-Ocean City said, “I’m very excited about this announcement. After the third interview with Aaron, I knew he was the right fit for our team and our market. His knowledge of the power of live and local radio is what sold me. Seller previously co-hosted mornings on Bonneville Country KYGO/Denver, preceded by a decade of service in Colorado Springs, where he co-hosted Goose & Woody on Cumulus AC KKPK (92.9 Peak FM) and did mornings on Top 40 sister KKMG (98.9 Magic FM). Seller began his radio career as an intern at iHeartMedia’s WKQI (Channel 95.5) in his hometown of Detroit. Seller remarked, “I have heard such amazing things about Adams Radio Group. Adams owns the same cluster I worked with in Ft. Wayne many years ago, and now I get to work alongside some great former co-workers including JJ Fabini. I’m excited to get to the east coast and the Delmarva Peninsula. I’m so thankful to Johnette Cochran for this incredible opportunity.”
