Govia Officially Aboard @ B100/Quad Cities

• So apparently this move happened about three months ago, but was never formally announced… until now… John Govia is in the house as Brand Manager and midday personality at Townsquare Top 40 KBEA (B100)/Quad Cities, IL-IA.

Govia (left) is probably best known for his lengthy run in the Peoria, IL market, including two tours of duty at Advanced Media Partners Top 40 WPIA (98.5 Kiss FM), most recently doing nights. He previously worked at WPIA from 2006-2009, followed by a stint on WZPW (Power 92.3) and a quick run in nights at Alpha Media rival WNGY (Energy 102.3).

Earlier in his career Govia programmed WBEA (101.7 The Beach)/Long Island, was the afternoon producer at the former WNOW (92.3 NOW)/New York and MD/nights at Journal Top 40 WWST (Star 102.1)/Knoxville. Govia can be easily reached at john.govia@townsquaremedia.com.
