Graham Leaves KNBR For Health Reasons

• Sending our best wishes to Kevin Graham, who announced his resignation as PD of Cumulus Sports-Talk KNBR (104.5/680)/San Francisco to devote his full focus to his battle with bladder cancer.

RAMP confirmed Graham’s departure with Cumulus management. The news was initially reported by Barrett Sports Media, which notes that, while Graham’s official last day was Wednesday, Aug. 23, he will help with operational issues through the end of the month. Graham is also planning to stay in California and continue his chemotherapy treatments to pursue a full recovery before deciding his future plans. “So off on another adventure once I get back to full strength,” Graham posted on X.

Graham was named PD of KNBR in July 2021, earning the transfer from the PD post at Cumulus News/Talk duo WBAP-AM and KLIF-AM/Dallas. Graham earlier served as Brand Manager for Audacy/Entercom’s WEEI-FM/AM/Boston, the Red Sox Radio Network and Sports Radio Format Captain for Entercom. Earlier programming stops include Bonneville’s KTAR & ArizonaSports.com/Phoenix, WXYT/Detroit and WEPN (98.7 ESPN)/New York City, along with two tours of PD duty at Cumulus Sports-Talk KFNZ-AM (K-Fan 1320)/Salt Lake City and stints in Pittsburgh and Columbus.
