Greg Roche: Free Agent

• RAMP has confirmed that Greg Roche, longtime MD/afternoon driver at iHeartMedia Alternative WWDC (DC101)/Washington, DC has exited after more than two decades of service, possibly the result of budget cuts.

Roche joined DC101 in 2001 and was elevated from nights to afternoon drive in August 2006. A year later he was awarded MD stripes.

Roche told RAMP, “Grateful to have had 22 years at a stellar station like DC101. I was hoping for the storybook ending, but it was not meant to be and I’m heartbroken. Not sure what’s next, but if it’s radio, a lucky PD will be getting one of the best in the business.”
