Halemane New EVP/GM, Digital, iHeartRadio
• iHeartMedia has elevated Kavi Halemane to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Digital Programming for iHeartRadio. In his newly enhanced position, Halemane will be responsible for overseeing iHeartRadio’s strategy/operations for Original Digital Music Station Programming, On-Demand Subscription Playlist and Free Playlist Radio curation and Podcast Programming, managing a team of expert music and podcast programmers, working closely with iHeartRadio’s Marketing, Editorial/Social and Sales teams to connect music fans, partners and artists with exclusive iHeartRadio content. He reports to Chris Williams, Chief Product Officer for iHeartRadio.
For the past year Halemane has served as iHeartRadio’s GM of Digital Programming. He joined Premiere Networks in May 2015 as Vice President of Digital Media for Premiere Networks, leading the revamp of its digital network, an effort that helped to more than double Premiere Networks’ digital audience in 2016.
Prior to joining Premiere, Halemane was EVP & Head of Digital at Beverly Hills-based talent management firm The Collective and doubled as VP Of Marketing for the YouTube Multi-Channel Network Collective Digital Studio, now known as Studio71 US. Halemane got his music industry start in the Digital Marketing & Marketing/Product Management departments of Interscope Geffen A&M Records. Halemane graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston with degrees in Music Business/Management and Music Production and Engineering.
