• Legendary air personality Nic Harcourt spent months in 1994 lining up local bands, juggling schedules and helping to pull off what many thought impossible: Woodstock ’94, a three-day music festival marking the 25th anniversary of the original 1969 music festival that changed the world.

Fast-forward 30 years, and Harcourt and Jet, his morning show co-host at Triple A 88.5 The SoCal Sound/Los Angeles will celebrate Gen X’s Woodstock from Aug. 12-14 from 9-10am by playing music from the bands who appeared at the 1994 festival that took place on Winston Farm in Saugerties, NY.

Woodstock ’94 was — and remains — a highlight of my career — from being involved in early Saugerties Chamber of Commerce meetings in support of the festival, to helping select the local bands who kicked the whole thing off, and then being on air live from a ‘Magic Bus’ studio on site throughout the show,” said Harcourt, who was live on-air throughout the festival live on WDST (Radio Woodstock)/Woodstock, NY. “It was a magical experience.”

• Mornings with Nic Harcourt and Jet airs weekdays from 6-10am on The SoCal Sound, a combined effort of KCSN at Cal State University, Northridge, and KSBR at Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, CA.
