JRDN Takes Nights @ Kiss FM/Chicago

• iHeartMedia Top 40 WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM)/Chicago promotes from within and announced that JRDN has been upgraded from overnights/fill-in to become Kiss FM’s new 7-midnight personality, effective immediately. He succeeds Erik Zachary, who stepped down at the end of September to concentrate on family and his TV/online projects.

“JRDN brings a level of energy to events that no one can match,” said James Howard, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Chicago and PD of Kiss FM. “Through his charisma and passion for both music and radio, JRND creates inviting and exciting experiences for listeners on the air and in person.”

Prior to joining iHeartMedia Chicago four years ago, JRDN, a native of Upstate New York, was a songwriter and rapper. He is a graduate of Syracuse University. Commenting on his exciting new opportunity, JRDN said, “I’m really excited and honored to be taking on this role. It’s something I’ve worked towards for a while now, so I can’t wait to serve Chicago some great times and good laughs.”
