Haskell Named SVPP For iHeart Ft. Collins
• Nice to see veteran Colorado programmer Eddie Haskell back in action, hired by iHeartMedia as SVP of Programming for the company’s nine-station group in Ft. Collins, CO. He will report to Amy Griesheimer, Area President for iHeartMedia Denver, who said, “I’m thrilled to have someone of Eddie’s caliber and expertise partner with us to lead the Northern Colorado iHeartMedia dynasty. Eddie’s passion and brand knowledge are unmatched.”
Jason McCollim, Area SVP of Programming for iHeartmedia’s Denver Region is equally thrilled at the news of Haskell’s hire, stating, “Eddie’s knowledge and experience in Colorado radio are second-to-none. Eddie’s addition to the Fort Collins team will only help to increase our already strong footprint in Northern Colorado.”
No stranger to living and working where the air is rare, Haskell most recently programmed Bonneville Country KYGO/Denver until August 2016. Before landing at KYGO in February 2013, Haskell spent nine years as OM of the Cumulus cluster in Albuquerque, NM and PD/afternoon personality on Country KRST. Haskell’s earlier programming stops include KKAT/Salt Lake City, KDJM/Denver, WYCD/Detroit and WXLK/Roanoke.
“I am so stoked to join the team at iHeartMedia Fort Collins,” said Haskell. “We have great brands, great programmers and a great management team. Plus, I’m thrilled to know that I still have a great view of the Rockies from my office window!”
