Howard 101 Deleted From SXM Lineup
• As had been widely rumored, Howard Stern‘s branded Howard 101 channel has been removed from the SiriusXM lineup, as the satcaster unveils a revised channel lineup that goes into effect tomorrow, Sept. 1.
The SiriusXM blog lays out the changes, noting, “SiriusXM is updating its channel lineup beginning September 1, with new channel numbers for a variety of sports, entertainment, comedy, news, talk, and music channels. Among the most notable changes, Radio Andy moves from Ch. 102 to Ch. 101, while Howard 100 remains on Ch. 100 and Howard 101 leaves the lineup.”
The announcement continues: “Sebastian Maniscalco’s Comedy Radio moves to Ch. 102, Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio to Ch. 103, Conan O’Brien Radio to Ch. 104, Netflix Is A Joke Radio to Ch. 105, Comedy Roundup to Ch. 106, Comedy Central Radio to Ch. 107, Comedy Greats to Ch. 108, and Pure Comedy to Ch. 109. Sports listeners will also find several channels at new locations, including SiriusXM FC on Ch. 188 and VSiN on Ch. 189, while several local sports stations join the satellite lineup on Chs. 94-99.”
The elimination of Howard 101 follows several round of layoffs affecting around 50 Stern support staffers as Howard, who signed a three-year contract extension in December 2025, is reportedly considering reducing his live show schedule from two days a week to one.
