Huff Ready To Ride Houston’s Bull

• Entercom keeps it in the family and promotes Chris Huff to PD of Country KILT-FM (100.3 The Bull)/Houston. He succeeds Bruce Logan, who left the company in December. It’s a nice upgrade for Huff, who has served as APD/MD of The Bull since 2014. He will also retain his other programming department role as APD of Adult Hits sister KKHH (95.7 The Spot).

“After an extensive nationwide search, we realized the best person to lead The Bull was already with us here in Houston,” said Sarah Frazier, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Houston. “Chris’ knowledge of radio; specifically Country radio in Texas, is next to none. His everyday actions display a pragmatic and hardworking leadership style and it’s evident that he’s the right person to lead this terrific team moving forward.”

Prior to joining The Bull, Huff spent 12 years as APD/MD for KSCS/Dallas. Earlier in his career Huff also held programming and on-air roles in Chattanooga and Knoxville, TN and Greensboro, NC. “Growing up in Texas, I’ve always regarded KILT-FM as a truly iconic radio station,” said Huff. “I was thrilled to join this team five years ago, and I’m truly excited to take the reins of the Bull in this new role.” Please send your best wishes to Huff at Chris.Huff@entercom.com.
