iHeart Chases, Catches Daniels
• iHeartMedia’s Hudson Valley Country outlet WRWD (Country 107.3)/Poughkeepsie, NY has hired Chase Daniels as its new PD and afternoon drive personality, effective Sept. 6. He replaces “Party Marty” Mitchell, who exited last month.
Daniels has spent virtually his entire career within the boundaries of New York State and segues from Saga Communications in Ithaca, NY where he is currently Asst. OM, Asst. Brand Manager and Music Director of WQNY (103-7 Q Country). Previous stops include Townsquare Media’s WLZW & WFRG/Utica, NY, Backyard Broadcasting’s WNKI, WPGI & WNGZ/Elmira, and he also spent some quality time in scenic Binghamton, NY at GM Broadcasting’s WLTB and former Citadel properties WWYL & WHWK.
