iHeart Launches Emerging ALT
• Tonight, iHeartMedia will debut a new Alternative specialty show — iHeartRadio Emerging ALT will air weeknights from 11pm-midnight local time across iHeart’s Alternative stations nationwide.
Hosted by Alex Mac from DC101/Washington DC, iHeartRadio Emerging ALT will highlight popular and up-and coming artists, music and much more each night. Alex, with his extensive knowledge and passion for new Alternative music, will engage listeners with stories about the artists, the inspiration behind the music as well as interviews each night, introducing listeners to both established as well emerging artists and bringing further awareness to great new talent and music.
