It’s Official: Bo Money Rejoins iHeartMedia

A few weeks ago we told you Bo Money had been named as PD of Urban WZRL (Real 98.3)/Indianapolis. Yesterday, the actual press release dropped, containing more details — Bo Money’s new title is Director of Urban Programming for iHeartMedia’s Kentucky-Indiana Region, overseeing the on-air and digital programming for Real 98.3 as well as WTFX (93.1 The Beat)/Louisville.

“Bo brings a wealth of knowledge in terms of Urban formats,” said Brad Polston, Market President for iHeartMedia Indianapolis. “With his leadership, Real 98.3 and 93.1 The Beat will no doubt continue their rapid growth, making them a dominant force in their markets.”

Mr. Money last worked for iHeartMedia as PD of KQBT (93.7 The Beat)/Houston, until August 2016. His previous PD stops include WBTP (95.7 The Beat)/Tampa, Radio One Urban WHTD (Hot 102.7) and Gospel WCHB-AM/Detroit and he also programmed Clear Channel Urban WQBT (94.1 the Beat)/Savannah, GA and WXBT (100.1 The Beat)/Columbia, SC back in the day. “I am moved and excited to program in Indianapolis,” said Money. “After speaking with the team here, the synergy is immeasurable!
