Hey, You Two… DeDe Needs You!

• Service Broadcasting Urban KKDA (K104)/Dallas-Ft. Worth, the flagship of DeDe in The Morning has two high-profile openings — 1) Creative Services Director and 2) an Associate Producer to join host DeDe McGuire and DeDe In The Morning, newly syndicated by Compass Media Networks.

• Creative Services Director: The ideal candidate will work with Brand Manager George “Geo” Cook, the Head of Production and Lead Producer to manage network creative and commercial production services and operations; develop custom sound design and sonic branding for the show; create, curate and produce custom audio content for show segments/highlights and daily local and network promos; write custom imaging and commercial scripts; continuously update show imaging and develop a system for keeping it fresh; manage the details and flow of network and affiliate audio requests for custom content, liners, promos, commercials, etc.; and create, edit and manage audio content for Best of DeDe in the Morning, DeDeMakesMeLaugh.com and related social/digital platforms.

Required Experience: 2+ years producing high-quality audio content for a successful radio cluster/station or syndicated show; sound design and sonic branding experience; Media production experience; Live audio board operation and proficient knowledge and skills with ProTools, Adobe Audition, Sony Vegas or Reaper. • Associate Producer: The ideal candidate will help direct and focus the in-studio performance of the cast, manage clock execution; coordinate content and show prep; manage the details and flow of the show internally on/off the air; coordinate recording of liners, promos, commercials, etc.; and curate, create and coordinate promotional and publicity activities. This position would also have an active role in expanding the show’s presence on multiple social media platforms.

Required Experience: 2+ years producing highly rated shows, preferably a morning show; media production; live audio board operation; phone-screening and guest-booking.
