Jadd’s Hungry Like The Wolf

• Great news for the millions of fans of Jadd Naamani — 1) He doesn’t have to leave scenic Portland, Maine, and 2) That’s because he’s been hired by Binnie Media as PD and morning co-host on Country WTHT (99.9 The Wolf), plugging in alongside co-host Michelle Taylor.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jadd as our new Head of Format, Program Director, and Morning Show Co-Host at 99.9 The Wolf,” said Heath Cole, Binnie Media EVP of Programming & Operations. “While others are making cuts and aging out of key demos, we’re investing in top-tier talent. It’s an honor to bring such a seasoned professional and exceptional broadcaster to the Binnie Media team.”

Naamani has been in the market since Oct. 2020, when he joined Townsquare Media as Brand Manager and morning personality on AC 94.9 WHOM and afternoon talent on Country cousin WOKQ/Dover, NH. In Feb. 2022 later he crossed the hall to Top 40 sister WJBQ (Q97.9) as Brand Manager and afternoon driver, a stint that lasted until his resignation last July.

Naamani earlier programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 KTBT (92.1 The Beat)/Tulsa, OK. A native of New England, Naamani previously programmed iHeartMedia Top 40 WERZ/Portsmouth, NH and did weekends at Kiss 108/Boston and WKSS/Hartford.

RAMP caught up with an animated Jadd Naamani, who said, “I couldn’t be more excited to wake Wolf Country up every single morning with a constant in Maine morning radio in Michelle Taylor, and to ‘make tracks’ with the elite team at Binnie Media on a flamethrower like THT. I’m ‘RAMP-official,’ baby!” Feel free to wish him well at jnaamani@binniemedia.com.

• Naamani actually fills two openings at The Wolf — 1) former PD Chris Clare left last April and returned to ADX Communications’ WYCT (Cat Country 98.7)/Pensacola, FL as pm driver; 2) Former Wolf morning co-host Andy Austin left last summer to become Director of Content and morning host at Port Broadcasting’s WWSF (104.3 Seacoast Oldies)/Sanford, ME.
