Jaybeau Nails Down Nights In Chicago

• Radio Resources’ syndicated “Personality On Demand” service proudly announces the addition of veteran talent Jaybeau Jones to anchor the 7-midnight shift on Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS/Chicago.

Jaybeau (pictured, below) has been teasing this big news for the past week, posting this semi-subtle image of the famous Wrigley Field sign on his social media. No stranger to the Windy City, Jaybeau programmed former Jammin’ Oldies WUBT in 1999, and presided over its flip to Top 40 WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM) in 2001.

Todd Cavanah, who doubles as PD of 94.7 WLS and Cumulus VP of Classic Hits, commented, “Jaybeau’s knowledge of our city, his on-air delivery and his experience with the Classic Hits titles that we play make him the perfect fit.” Radio Resources Chief Development Officer Rich O’Brien remarked, “We are thrilled that Cumulus and 94.7 WLS see the value of our ‘Personality On Demand’ service, by adding an A-List talent like Jaybeau!”

“To say the iconic call letters ‘WLS’ is literally a childhood dream come true,” Jaybeau said. “Todd Cavanah has brilliantly created a brand that owns up to those legendary call letters, and I’m honored to be a part of 94.7 WLS. My thanks to Todd, Cumulus Chief Content Officer Brian Philips and RVP/Market Manager Marv Nyren.”

In his not-so-spare time, Jaybeau can also be heard on SiriusXM’s “70s on 7” and Binnie Media’s Classic Hits “Frank FM” network in New Hampshire. To learn more about Jaybeau’s sweet syndication situation, contact rich.obrien@radioresources.com.
