Jennings Upped To PD, KSSN/Little Rock

• Congrats are in order for Jess Jennings, who has been promoted to Program Director of iHeartMedia Country KSSN 96/Little Rock, AR.

Jennings’ swell upgrade was formalized in a staff memo from SVP of Programming Dave Ashcraft that reads, “Happy to share the news that Jess Jennings has been officially named Program Director for KSSN/Little Rock. In her role as APD, Jess has impressed and inspired those around her with her creative energy, passion for good country radio and natural ability to lead. I look forward to working alongside Jess as she guides Arkansas’s Country Station into the future.”

Ashcraft confirmed that Jennings will retain her KSSN MD duties and midday shift, while continuing to lend her voice to iHeartCountry cousins KKIX (Kix 104)/Fayetteville, AR and KTEX/McAllen-Brownsville.

Jennings arrived in Little Rock in Oct. 2019, transitioning from the PD post at Saga’s WCKN (92.5 Kickin’ Country)/Charleston, SC. Jennings started her radio career at Riverbend Communications’ Country KTHK (105.5 The Hawk)/Idaho Falls, ID. She later served as APD of Alpha Media Country WUBB (Bob 106.9)/Savannah, GA-Hilton Head, SC, followed by a return to Idaho Falls and Sand Hill Media Country 99 KUPI, leading into her Charleston gig.

Your best wishes can be directed to Jess at JessJennings@iheartmedia.com.
