Jordan Named iHeartCountry Brand Coordinator
• iHeartCountry announced that Michael Jordan, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Kentucky-Indiana Region, has been named Brand Coordinator for iHeartCountry, effective immediately. Within this newly created role, Jordan will report to Rod Phillips, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartCountry and be responsible for overseeing the growth, roll-out and execution for all local and live Country music-based events for iHeartMedia’s Country stations. Jordan will continue his role as Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Kentucky-Indiana Region.
Jordan is a 16-year iHeartMedia veteran who previously held several senior positions in Lexington and Louisville, including SVP of Programming, Program Director of WAMZ/Louisville and WBUL (98.1 The Bull)/Lexington, KY, and Director of NTR and Promotions for iHeartMedia Lexington. Jordan began his radio oddyessy at the impressionable age of 12 at the former WTKT-FM (Oldies 103.3)/Lexington, KY.
Community involvement has always been an integral part of Jordan’s personal and professional life, through his philanthropic efforts with organizations like the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital, University of Kentucky Barnstable-Brown, Diabetes Center and Lexington Cancer Foundation.
