Ken Levine To Keynote The Last Conclave

• The Conclave is pleased to announce that Emmy Award-winning television writer, producer, director, radio personality and Major League Baseball broadcaster Ken Levine as a keynote presenter at Conclave 45: The Last Conclave in Bloomington, MN.

Few careers demonstrate the possibilities of broadcasting quite like Levine’s. Beginning in Top 40 radio — including time on the air as the awesomely named “Beaver Cleaver” — Levine went on to become one of television comedy’s most accomplished writers. His credits include some of the most celebrated series in television history, including M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier, The Simpsons, Wings, Everybody Loves Raymond and Becker, earning him an Emmy Award, Writers Guild Awards and other industry honors.

And somehow, that’s only half the story. A lifelong baseball fan, Levine also turned his broadcasting talents toward the ballpark, becoming a Major League Baseball play-by-play announcer and calling games for the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. He later returned to Los Angeles radio as a host of Dodger Talk on KABC. From a Top 40 control room to Hollywood writers’ rooms to Major League broadcast booths, Levine has spent his career proving that you never know where a life in radio might take you.

At The Last Conclave, Levine will bring those worlds together, sharing stories, lessons and insights from an extraordinary career in radio, television, comedy and sports broadcasting. His keynote presentation begins at 8:30am Thursday, Sept. 17, providing a fitting centerpiece for the final day of Conclave 45.

Conclave 45: The Last Conclave takes place September 15-17 at the Crowne Plaza Aire MSP Airport — Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. Registration and additional information are available at TheLastConclave.com.
