Kiana Awarded Overnights At Z100/NYC
• iHeartMedia’s mighty Z100/New York is thrilled to announce the addition of Kiana Singh as the station’s new overnight host (2-6am), effective Wednesday, May 15.
This news definitively answers the musical question of where Kiana was headed when she recently resigned as MD and afternoon personality at Cox Media Group Top 40 WBLI/Long Island after a six-year run.
“Kiana is an incredible young talent with boundless enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the market and our listenership, making her the right person to join our team,” said Mark Adams, Program Director of Z100 and iHeartMedia VP of CHR Programming. “I’m excited to watch her go as she joins our amazing staff at Z100. Welcome to Z100 New York, Kiana!”
Born and raised on Long Island, Kiana’s radio journey began at Suffolk County Community College, where she majored in Radio & Television. She gained valuable internship experience at Connoisseur Media before earning a part-time on-air spot at JVC’s WPTY (Party 105.1) in 2016. Two years later she joined WBLI, working her way up from overnights to afternoon drive in 2019 and MD in April 2022.
“I am thrilled beyond words to be joining the legendary Z100 and immersing myself in the electrifying energy of New York City,” said Kiana. “Being part of such an iconic brand is an immense honor. My goal is to contribute to Z100’s legacy with authenticity, positivity and a genuine love for Top 40, while learning from the incredibly talented team at iHeartMedia. I’m truly grateful for this chance, and I cannot wait to dive in and start making magic on the airwaves!”
