KIIS-FM Names Wheeler Dir. Of Imaging

• iHeartMedia Los Angeles introduced Matt Wheeler as the new Director of Imaging for 102.7 KIIS-FM. In his exciting new role as Director of Imaging, Wheeler is responsible for producing audio, writing scripts, managing and archiving audio assets, etc. He now reports to KIIS-FM PD Beata Murphy, who remarked, “We are excited to have Matt join the KIIS family. We ran a very extensive search to find our newest family member, and Matt stood out during the interviews and gave us some brilliant examples of his work. We are thrilled to have him on the team.”

Wheeler touches down at Burbank Airport from Austin, TX, where he has served as Creative Director, APD & Video Producer for Audacy Hot AC KAMX (Mix 94.7), AC KKMJ (Majic 95.5) and Classic Hip Hop Hot 95.9 (KKMJ-HD3) since 2016.

Wheeler started his career in 2001 in Panama City FL as Production Director/Imaging Director/Air Talent for WILN, WYOO, WVVE, WYYX & WPCF. Two years later he joined Entercom Sacramento as Imaging Director, APD, Video Producer and air talent for KDND, KWOD, KBZC & KUDL.
