Killabrew Returning To iHeart Indy
• iHeartMedia announced that Mike Killabrew is returning to iHeartMedia Indianapolis as Senior Vice President of Programming, effective January 1. He will also program WFBQ (Q95) and WOLT (ALT 103.3). Killabrew will report to Earl Jones, Region President for iHeartMedia Kentucky/Indiana, and Michael Jordan, Regional SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Kentucky/Indiana.
The move marks a return to his former position for Killabrew, currently programming iHeartMedia Classic Rock WBIG (BIG 100) and Alternative WWDC (DC101)/Washington, who served as SVPP of iHeartMedia Indy from 2016 until April of this year.
Over the course of his 20-year career Killabrew previously programmed KPTL (ALT 106.3) and Sports-TalkKXNO-AM/Des Moines, IA, preceded by a nine-year run with iHeartMedia Tampa Bay, where he programmed WXTB (98 Rock) from 2010-2012, and also worked with WDAE-AM& WHNZ-AM.
