Killer Country Opportunities
• iHeartMedia Country 102.5 KNIX/Phoenix is adding another radio pro to the team and is seeking its next programming star. To that end, Steve Geofferies EVP of Programming, Western Region is offering up a huge opportunity — he’s looking for the best candidate to be a PD or APD, depending on your current level of expertise.
If you are currently a PD or APD and you want to move up and become a part of a historic brand, live in paradise, and join a building that’s full of elite talent, visit the quaint iHeartMedia Careers Portal, read up on the qualifications and apply online. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we’re looking for the best of the best.
• Saga’s Portland Radio Group is now seeking a new morning co-host for Country WPOR/Portland, ME, as Adam Rondeau tendered his resignation after three years, effective Friday, March 16. In a Facebook post, Rondeau expressed his desire to return to Connecticut to be closer to family.
For now, Jon Shannon and Joe Lerman will soldier on as a duo, as the search for a new 3rd mic commences. Are you passionate about Country music? Does your daily life make for great show prep?
