KJHM/Denver Rebrands As ‘Mile High Vibe’

• After rolling for more than a decade as Jammin’ 101.5, “Old School & R&B,” Max Media’s KJHM/Denver today will rebrand as Jammin’ 101.5, “The Mile High Vibe, featuring the biggest R&B Hits from the past and present, while also focusing on hyper-local Denver content on and off the air.

OM Adrian “AD” Scott explains, “Jammin’ 101.5 — The Mile High Vibe isn’t confined to an era or category when it comes to defining our music selection — we cater to the Mile High City’s Vibe.” GM Sean Rhoadsnoted, “Our mission is and has always been to serve our community and our business partners. This is just another step toward solidifying our position within the community. This is not a format flip, this is only a rebranding or a brand polish. We are creating a feeling, not just a format.”

Along with the rebrand, The Mile High Vibe has inked longtime Denver radio & TV personality Kathie J (left) as midday host, tastefully bookended by Tony V in mornings and PD Senen “SLiM” Rodriguez in afternoon drive.

SLiM said, “Kathie J is the perfect talent to complement our new rebranding as the Mile High Vibe. She brings personality, experience, and an exuberant love of the community.” Kathie J commented, “I’m excited to be back on the airwaves with the new rebranding of the ‘Mile High Vibe. I’ve always loved this city and can’t wait to connect on a daily basis.”
