KKDM Seeks Its Second PD

• Two weeks ago we shared the news that Greg Chance had tendered his resignation as Region SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis and Omaha and was preparing for a life outside of radio after more than 20 years of service to iHeartMedia/Clear Channel in his hometown of Des Moines, IA. Chance will be joining his brothers in the family’s business, Diamond Oil Company, sometime in May.

One of Chance’s parting assignments (and it’s one close to his heart), is to help find his own successor to become only the second PD of Top 40 KKDM (107.5 Kiss FM)/Des Moines — Chance has programmed the station since he launched it in 1999.

KKDM now seeks a new leader that has a minimum of two years as a Program Director OR three years as an APD for a successful Top 40 brand. For the right candidate this position could also include multi-market regional programming responsibilities. Let’s start checking these boxes: 1) Multi-tasker? 2) G-Selector? 3) Organized? 4) Good relationships with our industry partners? 5) Are you a teacher? 6) Social Media skills? 7) On-Air work? 8) Sales-friendly?

If you feel you meet those qualifications and more, start assembling your impressive package — include your resume, programming philosophy, on-air work, endorsement spots, current station composite, last four ratings books and an explanation of why you should be the next PD of KKDM. [Please DO NOT send more than 9MB of total audio!] Send your package to gregchance@iheartmedia.com and also apply on the iHeartMedia Careers site. iHeartMedia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
