KYGO/Denver Taps ‘Big Mic’ As AM Producer
• Congrats to Denver market veteran Michael “Big Mic” Buhrman, swing jock on Bonneville Country KYGO/Denver on his upgrade to the newly created position of Executive Producer for the Tracy And Fizz morning show, hosted by Tracy Dixon and a dude named Fizz.
Buhrman joined KYGO last November, returning to the Mile High City after a four-year run with Audacy as Regional Brand Manager of Rhythmic properties KSFM/Sacramento, KQKS/Denver, KDGS/Wichita andWZMX/Hartford. He notably spent 17 years with Lincoln Financial/Entercom/Audacy Rhythmic sister KQKS (KS107.5)/Denver, rising from the street team to APD/MD/afternoon drive talent and, later, Interim PD.
Big Mic shared his news in a Facebook post that reads, in part, “This will be my 22nd year in radio and for the 4 years I was in Sacramento in the back of my mind I always knew Denver was home and hoped to make it back. Back in November I was blessed with the amazing opportunity to join Bonneville and 98.5 KYGO, and as of this week I will officially be joining KYGO full-time as the Executive Producer of the KYGO Morning show.”
