Larrimore & Kearney On The Loose

Neil Larrimore has departed the PD post at Cumulus News-Talk WPRO (99.7FM/630AM) and Talk & Business sister 790 WPRV/Providence. No replacement has been named yet.

Larrimore arrived in Providence in October 2017, transitioning from iHeartMedia Phoenix, where he was Arizona Region Director of Spoken Word Programming, overseeing News-Talk KFYI-AM, News-Talk KOY-A (KFYI 2) and Sports-Talk KGME-AM/Phoenix, while also serving on the strategy team for News-Talk duo KNST-AM and KTZR-AM/Tucson.

Before that Larrimore spent seven years programmingEntercom Talk duo KMBZ-AM & FM/Kansas City. Kobi Kearney is also now a free agent as he exited late last week as PD of iHeartMedia Top 40 WNRW (98.9 Radio Now) and Hot AC WLGX (100.5 Kiss FM)/Louisville after a four-year run. No replacement has been named there yet.

Kearney (pictured here with his pal Alessia Cara) arrived in Louisville in June 2015, transferring from the PD chair at iHeartMedia sister KWNW (101.9 Kiss FM)/Memphis.

Kearney was previously APD of iHeartMedia sisters WDCG (G105) and WKSL (93.9 Kiss FM) in his hometown of Raleigh. His earlier stops include MD/nights at WRDW (Wired 96.5)/Philadelphia and MD/nights on WHKF (99.3 Kiss FM)/Harrisburg, PA.
