Leak Inked For Nights At KDWB
• iHeartMedia Top 40 KDWB/Minneapolis introduced Vont Leak as its new nighttime personality, effective August 21. The KDWB Night Show runs weekdays from 6-11pm and features the iHeartRadio Hitlist.
Leak arrives in the Twin Cities after a brief stop at iHeartMedia Des Moines, IA, where he was an on-air talent on Top 40 KKDM (107.5 Kiss FM) and Morning Show Producer for Newsradio 1040 WHO. Leak earlier served as Program Director for William Paterson University’s WPSC/Wayne, NJ, where he won awards for “Best College Morning Show,” “Best College On-Air Personality,” and “Best College Program Director” — twice — and led the station to a Marconi Award for College Radio Station of the Year in 2021.
“To say that Vont catapulted his broadcasting career is an understatement,” said Rich Davis, PD of KDWB. “As soon as I reviewed his resume and accomplishments, I knew he was a guy I needed to talk to. He is young, eager, and his passion is palpable. Vont is up to the task, and I can’t wait to watch him continue to grow as a part the 101.3 KDWB team.”

Leak succeeds Eric “E.” White, who last month was named morning co-host (along with fellow company veteran Erica Shea) on iHeartMedia Top 40 KZHT (97.1 ZHT)/Salt Lake City.
