Leblanc Heads Home To Lafayette

• Larry Leblanc has accepted the position of Director of Programming for the Delta Media Corporation group in Lafayette, LA, starting in early December. In his new post Leblanc will oversee the programming of the group, which includes Urban AC KFXZ (Z105.9), Sports-Talk KLWB (103.7 The Game); Country KOGM (Mustang 107.1); Oldies simulcast KVOL-AM & FM/Lafayette, LA & KLCJ-FM/Lake Charles, LA (The Rewind); Triple A KYMK-FM (106Three Radio Lafayette) and Regional Mexican KFXZ-AM & KXKW-LP (El Sabor 87.7/105.3).

Leblanc arrives from frosty Bismarck, ND, where he spent the last six years as Operations Manager for Townsquare’s six-station group and Brand Manager/morning talent at Country KUSB-FM. Before that he spent five years as OM for Three Eagles Communications in Mankato, MN and Brand Manager/afternoon talent on Country KYSM. He also served as Operations Manager for Grenax Broadcasting in Flagstaff, AZ,

The move marks a homecoming for Leblanc, a Lafayette-area native who previously worked for Powell Broadcasting in Lafayette, Vetter Communications in Baton Rouge, LA, Cumulus Media in Lake Charles, LA and Equity Broadcasting in Little Rock, AR. GM Chuck Woodcommented, “It’s very exciting to have Larry back in Lafayette.
