Lewis Circles Home To KNIX
After an action-packed 11-year span, Lois Lewis is making her triumphant return to the station where she started her radio career — iHeartMedia Country KNIX/Phoenix, this time as APD/MD/midday talent, effective July 17. She will replace Anthony “AntMan” Allen, who is packing for his new PD adventure at Country sister KASE & KVET/Austin.
Lewis has spent the past 15 months in Las Vegas as APD/MD/midday personality on sister KWNR (95.5 The Bull). Before that she enjoyed a seven-year run with Republic Nashville as Sr. Director of West Coast Promotion. Lewis got her first radio break at KNIX and worked there from 1999-2006, followed by a stint at Cumulus Country KIIM in her hometown of Tucson.
“I’ve worked with Lois for over four years and have always appreciated her tremendous attention to detail and great relationships,” said Steve Geofferies, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s West Division. “She’s quickly becoming one of the best on-air talents we have in the Country format. Plus, I love the amazing energy she brings to the building.” Arizona Region President Linda Little said, “I’m thrilled to have Lois Lewis back in Phoenix where she began her career in radio. Not only is Lois a great talent, but clients love her genuine and passionate approach to everything she does.”
Lewis commented, “Answering an ad in the ASU State Press nearly 20 years ago kick-started my journey in radio. Today, my dreams are being realized once again as I’m coming home to the legendary 102.5 KNIX. I couldn’t be more thrilled by this incredible opportunity and can’t wait to work alongside Steve Geofferies and the talented iHeartMedia Phoenix team.”
