Maguire To Program SummitMedia Greenville

• SummitMedia, LLC has named Mychal Maguire as the new Director of Programming & Operations for its Greenville, SC cluster — WJMZ (107.3 Jamz), WHZT (Hot 98.1), Awesome 99.5 (WJMZ-HD3) and X98.5 (WJMZ-HD2).

Maguire comes to SummitMedia from iHeartMedia Tampa, where he served as PD and midday personality on Urban WBTP (95.7 The Beat), and Classic Hip-Hop Throwback 94.5 & 105.9. With more than 20 years of experience, Maguire is recognized for his imaging, promotions and digital expertise, as well as his ability to develop creative NTR opportunities for online video programming.

Before transferring to Tampa in May 2015, Maguire was SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Montgomery, AL cluster. His extensive resume also includes a stint as Director of Urban Programming in Macon, GA, PD of Cumulus Urban KMJJ/Shreveport, LA; Clear Channel Urban WPHH (Power 104.1)/Hartford and early stops in Charleston, SC and at KIIZ/Killeen, TX.

Maguire fills the Greenville vacancy created when Maurice DeVoe, SummitMedia Rhythmic Top 40 & Urban Brand and Content Leader relocated to Birmingham to directly oversee WBHK, WBHJ and WAGG.
