Maze Navigates Back To T-95/Wichita

• SummitMedia Wichita welcomes a familiar face back into the building, as Johnny Maze is once again named PD and afternoon talent for Active Rock KICT (T-95).

Yes, this marks a homecoming for Maze, who formerly programmed KICT and Classic Rock sister KFXJ from 2011 to 2016 under former owner Scripps. He returns to Wichita from SummitMedia Louisville, where he was APD/afternoon personality on Classic Rock 107.7 WSFR.

“There are only a handful of Rock stations left that have the longevity and history in the format that T-95 does,” Maze said. “I really enjoyed my previous tenure here and when the opportunity was presented to return, I jumped at the chance.”

“Johnny has deep relationships in the Rock world,” said Justin Case, Director of Programming & Operations for SummitMedia Wichita. “He understands the market and how important T-95 is to our company, consumers, and the community. His work ethic is undeniable.”

Prior to landing in Wichita for the first time in August 2011, Maze spent four years at the helm of Cumulus Active Rock WXZZ (Z-Rock 103)/Lexington, KY. His other stops include WRXW (Rock 93.9)/Jackson, MS and KRXE/Lafayette, LA.
