McCray Upped To VP for Radio One Dallas

• Stripes look real nice on Mark McCray, OM/PD of Radio One Urban KBFB (97.9 The Beat) and Urban AC KZMJ (Majic 94.5)/Dallas, who has been promoted to the newly awesome role of Vice President of Programming and Operations for Urban One Dallas. The big giant upgrade was bestowed upon McCray by Jay Stevens, Radio One SVP of Programming and David Kantor, CEO of Reach Media and Radio One’s Radio Group.

McCray landed in Dallas in November 2011, after a decade spent with CBS Radio West Palm Beach, where he rose to OM/PD/morning host at Rhythmic/Urban AC combo WMBX (X-102.3) & WNEW (B106.3). Earlier in his career McCray worked in Austin as PD of CBS Radio Urban AC KJCE and APD/MD of KQBT (The Beat).
