McShay On The Loose
• Wes McShay has exited his position as Operations Manager for Legend Communications in Northwest Wyoming. McShay joined the company in 2017 and had operational oversight of the company’s nine Big Horn Radio Network stations and three translators, with offices in Cody and Worland, WY. McShay was also doing mornings on Country KZMQ-FM/Cody, WY, which was named “Radio Show of the Year” in 2018 by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters.
McShay previously spent three years as OM of the six-station Cumulus cluster in Montgomery, AL until Sept. 2016. His previous programming stops include KQFC/Boise, ID, WKDF/Nashville, WDAF/Kansas City and WDRM/Huntsville, AL, and he was also on the air at WZLX/Boston and WWRX (Jammin’ 107.7)/New London, CT.
“Sometimes it’s just time to move on… and this was one of those times,” McShay said. “I want to thank Mark Crumpand Jed Burnsfor their leadership in helping me create new ‘live’ stations from satellite stations and for working with me to create a positive work environment for our staff.” McShay is looking forward to his next opportunity and can be reached at 307-899-0007 or wesgardipe@gmail.com.
